Tiger study

I wanted to try my hand at an animal study as a warm up, it turned into a week long venture into tigers.

starting off with the structure of tigers, vaguely tracing the shapes over google sourced images, finding out that theyre a mix of blocky faces and smooth flowing saggy bodies

Using google image search i looked up tigers and tiger faces, referencing them from there i proceeded to time myself in sketching out different faces and poses.

i found this super helpful as i havent doen this kind of study before, learning alot of things about tigers

i used my knowledge on tigers to draw a stylised portrait of one, i can safely say i knew more about tigers then i did when i first started
